The requirement
Richard Kendall approached Techn22 to refresh their IT estate and support the business with a scalable solution that fits with their desire to expand operations. The existing system was starting to fray around the edges so having a solution that can adapt to changing business needs was crucial.
Connectivity was also a problem in some locations so new internet lines with added resilience were required.
Lastly replacing a number of ageing PC’s to complement the new environment rounded the requirements off nicely.
The solution
Techn22 provided Richard Kendall with a new Microsoft Azure environment utilising Multi-Factor Authentication to ensure user security is maintained. Coupled with Microsoft Identity Protection & Conditional Access, we can ensure only authorised users from recognised locations can access the environment.
Productivity solutions included Microsoft Office 366, Exchange Online for email & SharePoint for document management. Again, this ensures licensing is efficient and scalable for their requirements.
Connectivity arrived with a combination of FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) and FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) broadband lines and a 200/200 lease line.
The migration took place over the course of a weekend, with the assistance of the outgoing provider, meaning there was no downtime for the users. Standard practice for Techn22.
